About the Founder:

 

Courageous Womanhood was started by Claire Johnson. Claire is a wife, missionary, adventurer, and with her husband Zadok Johnson they run Undaunted Missions. She recently got back from Southeast Asia with her husband helping disciple ethics that are living in the active war zone of Burma.  Claire spent three years in an intense outdoor leadership/missionary training school. She has had the privilege of working in disaster relief missions, including taking a helicopter into the jungles of Haiti alongside retired special operations personnel.  Claire has been a serious rock climber and endurance hiker, having hiked 72 miles in 69 hours.  She is certified in WFR ( Wilderness First Responder) and TCCC ( Tactical Combat Casualty Care). 

 

A Word from Claire:

In January of 2024 I felt God tell me so clearly to start this podcast. He even gave me the exact name for it out of the blue. I had always cringed at the thought of doing a podcast, but when God tells you to do something you got to take it and give it 100%. I talk to countless young women on the phone every single week and they all have the same questions and the same struggles. The same questions and struggles that I had at their age. I wish I could of had a woman tell me exactly what I am going to be talking about on this podcast, it would of given me so much more courage and would of helped save me pain and thinking I was totally nuts. 

 

Ever since I was young I always new that there was something more, something that no one else was talking about. I was bursting with vision and mission wanting to live out the radical courageous lifestyle like women of old. My heart is for woman to live life on mission for Jesus. For women to truly live out who they are called to be as women of God instead of living in the box that religion has put them in. My passion is for young women to live only for the eyes of one...Jesus the lover of their soul.

 

This is not just a podcast, it is a call to action. It is a call and an opportunity for women of God to live out their Biblical calling of being radical courageous women who are grounded in their identity as daughters of the King of kings. In a world of radical feminism and white picket fence lifestyles it's time to live out what it actually look like to be a woman of God. A woman that laughs without fear of the future and lives life on mission for her chief in charge...JESUS! It's time to say "no" to normality and "yes" to living the adventure of the true Christian lifestyle!
